P-Farm began as a peanut processor, supplying major customers and expanding into international markets.
2012
Golden Peanut (ADM)
Golden Peanut (ADM) from Georgia, USA, acquired a majority stake, leading to a name change to Golden Peanut & Tree Nut SA.
2019
SA Peanuts
After five successful years, ADM US sold its shares, giving rise to SA Peanuts in 2019, the market leader in groundnut processing in South Africa.

Led by Dr André du Toit, breeder of Pannar’s cultivars for over 20 years, the programme expanded further after the 2024 Corteva acquisition, and continues to focus on yield-leading varieties that improve growers’ margins in both irrigated and dryland conditions.
